About the Role 

You will be creating dynamic, engaging, and exciting learning content from concept to implementation in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry. You should excel at simplifying concepts, procedures, and sophisticated technical information. You are curious about how things work and can deliver on your commitments. You’ll focus on instructional design, content development, and collaboration.

Timeline: Starting ASAP after the interview process and extending through December 2024.

W2 Contract with benefits, 40 hours per week.

The hourly rate is negotiable.
*Background checks and the review and signature of client policies and procedures are required.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Safety Team’s subject matter experts to capture knowledge and accurately reflect it within the curriculum content
• Design and develop instructional materials and learning paths, ensuring maximum engagement and effectiveness across multiple modalities of learning
• Create eLearning, ILT, and vILT content, assessment, and evaluation criteria aligned with training objectives for Manager, Leader, Professional, and Career Development
• Create effective facilitator guides and train our trainers or operations management teams
• Keep learning curriculum up-to-date

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in corporate training or instructional design (with ability to present a portfolio)
• 5+ years of experience using learning authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud suite, G suite, Articulate 360, and Vyond
• 5+ years of experience in content editing and minimalist writing
• Knowledge of Adult Learning theories
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams
• Ability to meet aggressive timelines for deliverables, with accuracy, quality and attention to detail
• Organized with a strong ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Shift gears comfortably as business needs evolve
• Proactively seek out feedback and opportunities for improvement, and adapt deliverables in response

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology and operations
• Professional Certifications (instructional design)
• Experience with GenAI, game design, branching scenarios, Wellsaid, etc.
• Make recommendations on innovative and appropriate eLearning tools
